this will need all of 15 to 20 years of slumber in a cool cellar before it will play nicely in the vinous sand box

There is enough wood present to warrant commenting on though it’s not enough to endanger the clear expression of the pretty red cherry

The 1999 d'Issan has a perfumed bouquet with wilted violet petals infusing the redcurrant and cranberry scents

There is again excellent volume and mid palate density to the opulent and sappy flavors that also offer fine depth and persistence on the balanced finale. Lovely.
