CWT & Maggie Sanderson Student Awards
The CWT has, for a number of years, been running an awards scheme. This has been designed to recognise the work of those who have sought to improve public health through good food.
Previous winners of the Caroline Walker Trust Award have ranged from scientists with international reputations to local food and community groups endeavouring to improve the health and wellbeing of local communities. We would like to continue the tradition of recognising those individuals and groups who have made valuable contributions or projects who have made a significant impact on public health nutrition and food quality.
The Maggie Sanderson Student Awards recognise and celebrate Honours degree (postgraduate) student’s work which contributes to the ideals of the Trust – the promotion of public health through good food. Submissions are sought via a recommendation from course leaders and The Trust is particularly interested in work with a practical outcome – a piece of research which makes a difference.
