Improving food and public health as an entrepreneur 2
The Caroline Walker Trust is hosting its second online lecture as part of its ‘Improving food & public health as an entrepreneur’ series on Monday, 22 April, at 19:30. This session will focus on food campaigning.
We have brought together a panel of expert speakers to share their expertise and experience in food campaigning. The content is designed to inspire and motivate food campaigners, charities, students and nutritionists and give them some food for thought, essentially following in the footsteps of our founder Caroline Walker.
Attendees will hear about successful food campaigners past and present and how they’ve achieved their success in improving food and public health in the UK.
Our expert guest speakers are:
- Dr Margaret Ashwell (OBE, DSc, EdD, Hon FNS, FAfN, RNutr(Public Health), Vice President of The Caroline Walker Trust
- Cath Elliston, former Head of Campaigns for Jamie Oliver Group and trustee of Alexandra Rose Charity
- Laura Winningham (OBE), Co-founder of City Harvest, the food rescue organisation which has delivered more than 60 million meals to vulnerable people.
